    • It is best to wear clothing that you are comfortable in, and that does not restrict your movement, and closed toed tennis shoes (or something similar).
  • What equipment, if any, will I need?
    • You do not need anything! I bring it all!
  • Do I need to get a babysitter?
    • No Way! The kids can be in the same room with us watching a movie, or playing with their toys! I want this service to be as hassle-free as possible!
  • I have a busy schedule; will you be able to work with me?
    • Yes.  I have a very flexible scheduling; we will find a perfect time for you.
  • Can you meet me somewhere besides my home?
    • Yes, I can meet you at your home, office, or a local park, all I ask it that the location stays constant.
  • How much room will we need for our exercise sessions?
    • We will need enough room to complete a workout comfortably and safely. We can move furniture if we need to. This can be assessed during your initial consultation.
  • I have tried traditional dieting and fad dieting, and I hate it.  Is this going to be anything like that?
    • Working with me you will not be dieting, you will be creating a new lifestyle. I will teach you how to eat right, exercise, and love doing it! Most “dieting” plans are too extreme to maintain for the rest of your life, which means eventually you will go back to your previous lifestyle. My goal is to create a lifestyle specifically for YOU, and that YOU love!
  • How do I get started?
    • Call me at 206-229-7134, and we will set you up with your complimentary initial consultation to get you started
  • Can I bring my significant other to our workout sessions?
    • I offer a special Couples Training Package for a discounted rate! You can get in shape together AND save money!  Or instead of your significant other bring your best friend or sibling!
  • I feel like my house is messy, do I need to clean up before you come?
    • Of course not! We just need enough space to exercise; I could not care less what your house looks like!
  • What makes your service different from other personal training services?
    • You can stay in the comfort and privacy of your own home - I come to you, and I bring my own equipment. I work to educate you on a healthy lifestyle so that you can maintain it after we are done working together. I genuinely care about your health, not your wallet.
  • I have a swimming pool, can we incorporate it into my workouts?
    • Definitely! There are plenty of workouts we can do in the pool! Swimming is a great whole body workout!
  • I’m getting ready for a special occasion and I would like to look my best.  Can you help me with that?
    • Yes! Whether you are getting ready for a wedding, cruise, reunion, anniversary, or just swimsuit season, I can help you look and feel your best! I also offer special packages for brides and wedding parties.

3 super foods you should try and eat everyday are spinach, blueberries, and salmon.
Try replacing butter and margarine with olive oil to avoid saturated fats and get good fats.
Most salad dressings have more oil than any other ingredient (in other words, lots of fat!)
Try eating mostly whole grains-replace your whites with browns (rice, bread, pasta etc.)
Avoid trans fats!! They have been linked to heart disease. Check all of your food labels.
Eat a lot of fruits and veggies. They are high in antioxidants, fiber, and water, and low in calories!
Be careful getting your fruit servings from fruit juice and dried fruit, they can be very high in added sugars.
If a diet plan you see on TV sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There isn’t a cure all for being healthy and in shape.
Eat lots of soluble and insoluble fiber to help you feel full and fend off heart disease.
Try replacing red meat with other proteins like turkey, chicken, fish, and soy.
Any physical activity is better than none! Take the stairs, walk around the block, walk to the school to pick up the kids.
Don’t like running? Try swimming for a whole body work out! (Plus it is easier on your knees!)
Keep in mind, alcohol is high in calories!
Cut back your soda intake, it is high in calories and doesn’t offer any valuable nutrients.
Having a personal trainer can help you stay motivated, dedicated, and get you better results.
